Saturday night was WURZEL night down at the Westmarsh playing fields. Put on by the village cricket club, OOSVCC, to raise funds for a new cricket pavilion. With two support acts, a hog roast, and a well supplied beer tent, it was a great night out. |

IT'S - A - KNOCKOUT! In the afternoon of Sunday 6th, the Deckers youth club held It's-A-Knockout on the playing fields at Westmarsh Lane. Local and not so local teams entered, competing in: - water carrying obstacle course, - six legged water carrying, - wet sponge water bottle shy, - holely pipe filling, - bucket ball on elastic and - two plank shuffling. The fantastic warm weather ensured that everyone got wet, including some of the judges! |

After the It's-A-Knockout there was a Youth Service held in the Marquee led by Revd David Primrose & Revd Julian Perkins. One of the themes in the service which everyone was encouraged to act out, was undoing the knots in our lives that we keep tying ourselves in! In the picture to the right, one particularly knotty bunch can be seen undoing themselves. | ||
